MULTIPAGE SPREAD - RECIPE BOOK
Background: Recipes for my Sweet Tooth is a fictional recipe book created to demonstrate a multipage spread layout.
The Design: Stunning photography paired with a playful typeface in a warm hue on the cover signals to readers that a playful and beautiful “coffee table style” recipe book is what’s to unfold. Coloured themes of pastel pinks and teal, warm tones of brown and honey continues to appear throughout the piece in the headers, tabs, frames and dividers to set up a invitingly delicious tone for the readers
Typefaces throughout the pages are prioritized from bold wide fonts in the headers, bios and recipes (signaling a lesiurely read) to narrow condensed fonts in the body (it’s time to get down to business) so the reader’s eyes can be guided throughout the piece
Information is housed in a multicolumn grid and seperated by strong horizontal lines and imagery, enabling the readers to select which section they want to read first and dictate their own reading experience
